Called on new iPhone number (placed on DNC register) by a woman who said she was looking for a Mr Richard Sampson (totally unknown person). Could not tell me how her outfit had my number or why it was connected to a person not connected to the phone. Woman apologised and said that they had 'bought the phone number' - surmise that this must have been from OPTUS - the specialists in data-theft from its mobile subscribers. The new iPhone was because I had been caught in the Optus hack and my email/mobile leaked onto dark web. The usual number blocking
