When I answered they hung up. I called them back - takes a while to answer and then goes to busy.

Caller: they said related to some solar rebate scheme

like probably everyone on this message board, my number is on the do not call register. the person that called had my first name as well. the other day i received a call from another number where the person had my name as well. when i asked where they got my details from, they said it was on a lead generation list. it seems like someone is gathering and selling people's personal information for telemarketing.

i've added this number to the blocked numbers on my phone. d*cks.

i didn't pick up but was automatically determined as a spam call by my phone..

Scammer big time, and rude as all hell.

After a lengthy pause, caller hung up with the momentary sound of a noisy call centre

They called and hung up straight away.
