Hung up as soon as I answered

A company selling solar panels when i said wasnt interested said he personally also does website design. So I asked him about the car accident he had recently been in.

Caller: Telstra Technical @ Wellington Point??????

Scam - Indian voice - trying to tell me my Telstra internet connection was being hacked.......I didn't react and just said, "Ohhh", after each 'immense tale"..........only heard "crickets" from their end......they finally hung up....No reaction here!! LOL!

called me twice today (22 Feb 2022) no message left. ID said it was from Newcastle, NSW - I didn't bother calling back

I answered and typically no one responded. This usually means a machine is monitoring your mobile to see if you are available and if you answer then it takes a minute for someone to start speaking, generally nuisance calls. I hung up. Call showed it was from "Newcastle".

Missed call with no message. I've had several missed calls from them over the last few weeks and they never leave a message. Cannot block as the calls come through the land line.

Scam. Indian lady voice saying she is calling from Telstra. I say I dun have Telstra account, and ask who is she. She start angry and start with F*. Not a easy job, she must under too much pressure.

Caller: Fake Telstra

Saying that my IP address is hacked and they are going to help me. I said ok I will call Telstra myself and they hang up. I called Telstra and no record of Communication to me from Telstra total scam . Indian sounding voice.

No answer, no message left. From “Newcastle”

Caller: Lady claiming she worked for Telstra

Knew it was a scam as soon as it started as the claim that someone else might be using my nbn and my IP address is just bogus.. I played along until she asked me to download anydesk where instead I typed in this number to my search engine and read all your posts to which I then read out loud the other Telstra post on here.. she swore under her breath and hung up.. hahaha

Claimed to be Telstra advising my internet connection was hacked. Caller disconnected the call once I advised her that I'm an IT Professional

Confirmed if I made 2 transactions. I hung up and they called back 2 more times.

I muted my background before tapping answer, saying nothing. Call ended.
Now blocked.

Scam call -states they are calling from AMAZON and there was an unusual purchase made on my account. I told them I had made the purchase and they hung up on me.
