I have the same experience.
I held on; thinking that maybe someone would take the call.

Eventually another voice, automated soft female, simply said "Goodbye" and the call was terminated by them.

I am blocking the number on my device.

in your phone's call section settings you should be able to block these numbers but only individually unfortunately.

Some sort of telemarketing scam.

2 days in a row when I answered they hang up.

Continually calling. Scammers making spoof calls.

Phishing Scammer

Wish the Government would do something with these nuisance callers.

They have called my phone the last two days & I don't answer as my phone alerts me it may be fraud/scam. Goes to voicemail, but no message, just people noise in the background.

2nd time called. When u ring the number, the person does not identify the company, says call is very important to them. you will be put through to the next available operator.

Why do these unknown numbers keep ringing around lunch time each day. Hang up when answerphone responds. How can they be stopped?
