Got a bit aggressive when asked where he got my number from.
Said I had qualified for some travel deal anywhere in Australia but still refused to tell me where he got my number from.
Continued to push some travel deal and refuse to disclose where he got my number while getting more aggressive.
Told him I was not interested and hung up.

Yep just googled Curt Sanders and found your entry - he did a lot of research into his enquiry and the story sounded wonderful (anniversary party for his wife Linda Sanders but on Manus Island) he gave a Mr Smith at TSI Logistics, mmm really! Will ignore him now and report to Scam Watch.

LOL he is trying it with me as well. Sounds Jamaican. Calling himself Bill Ashley. Gave me a card number with no CVV (three dig security code) I said I can process it without the numbers, he said he will call me back the another card. So here is the scam. The payment will go through. He will ask you immediately to pay the shipping company for him as they don't except credit cards. Once you pay the shipping business (which is him) he will cancel the credit card payment and you just lost the money you gave to the shipping company and you lost your sale as well. I have spoken to the bank to see if I could flip the scam on him and unfortunately the banking guidelines gives him all the power and us business owners absolutely none in this case. Anyone can cancel a credit card payment.

I also had a Kendrick Gunners email me back and forth for weeks asking me to send a large shipment to Norway through my business. It seemed sort of weird but he stated my specific products etc so I went along with it. He wanted me to use a specific freight company too which was to cost $1000. His payments bounced three times until they finally went through. He then emailed me asking me to pay the shipping immediately. Luckily Paypal blocked the payment a few hours afterwards and warned me that the transaction was suspicious.

Must be a massive scam because they had done a lot of research.

I should have known better but I just thought that he was weird!

The claimed I filled in a form and was entitled to travel in Australia or New Zealand for just a payment of $314, I never filled in any form, and even though I told her that I do not travel, and she still asked if it was a visa or Mastercard, and I lied and said that I didn’t have a credit card, so I didn’t qualify,

slow to respond when answering which is usually a red flag for autodialler/scammer . noisy call centre where someone with a Filipino accent that claims he is from (mumbles company name) in sydney, asked if I remember filling out a form in the past 12 months in (suburb of my old business PO BOX) so obviously using outdated info and kept repeating the suburb and po box address as if that is supposed to verify the legitimacy of this supposed form, he then starts to congratulate me and my family for winning (another red flag)... call dropped out before I got a chance to hang up they obviously use a very poor quality telco also. one of the worst attempts at a scam I have come across.

I am so sick of these damned scamming phone calls. Assuming that it was a scammer calling, I picked up the phone but didn't speak. There was silence on the other end before they eventually disconnected, but I kept the line open for the next hour, half hoping that that would result in one of their lines being unavailable for a while. Even if it no longer works like that, I at least got peace from the moronic scum-suckers for a while.

Caller with an Indian accent first thing asked to confirm my name and before that I asked who was calling. Caller claimed I had completed an entry form, I advised I never do that, so he suggested that a member of my family could have. When I said no no no I’m not interested he hung up.
