Caller: Spammers An email was sent that the McAfee renewal date is due for AU$ 419. If you didn't authorize this change, call (02) 4017 0128 - which I did, just to confirm the Indian accent and their fraudulent activities. I told them to change their job and stop being fraudulent.

Received email from Taylor Jax re renewing Mc Afee subscription and automatic debit. Rang the number. Bloke on the phone very good at "assuring" but wouldn't give details of account he was debiting. Then wanted to help me check if it was a hoax!! Very crafty . Be wary.

A Mcafee scam claiming your subscription will be automatically renewed for AUD$ 419. A phone number is provided to cancel within 24 hours. The phone number leads to an Indian call centre where they try and get you to type in a link in google Chrome so you can get a receipt for the cancellation. It is malware obviously, as I've never bought Mcafee antivirus, beware, scammers.

Email arrived, purporting to be from McAfee Antivirus and listed this number for contact to prevent an annual subscription renewal. I don't have annual subscription to McAfee.
