Received a call from this number and I didn't answer it. Caller left a message saying that $99.99 will be debited from your account. If you have not placed the order please call us at 6186. Rang the number (02) 3805 6010 & an Indian female answered the call. She didn't identify herself or who she worked for, as I had asked who was I speaking to. I could hardly understand her. She asked if I had purchased some item on Ebay & said no I hadn't bought anything Ebay at all for that amount. The last time I had purchased anything on Ebay was months ago. She said that if I hadn't then did I want to cancel this transaction, because if I hadn't purchased it then someone (a scammer) was using my details to purchase items and I needed to cancel this transaction. She attempted to get me to go to my browser & follow her instructions. I was highly suspicious by this stage & hung up. No one from this number attempted to call me back again. I'll wait & see if anyone does though.

Fake ebay call.

Just had a missed call from this number - googled number and it came up in bowral nsw or such. They left a pre-recorded message that was half cut, saying an order has just been placed by me & if it wasn't me i need to call 618 614 624 114 and press 1. Sounded sus, so i googled that number and heaps of comments about scamming came up.
