Bad recording on answering machine telling me that my internet had been compromised and I needed to change details by pressing 1 on my phone to talk to the engineer. Cant these people be stopped.

Caller: Robotic calling machine lady

An automated system is calling my phone with a recorded message saying my IP address has been compromised & being accessed from several countries. Multiple calls from this number going to my answer machine.

Can it be stopped?

I received the call from this number when I answer the call answering machine telling me that my internet going to be disconnected in 24 to 48 hrs.

Caller: Computer message

Recorded message saying IP address had been compromised and the internet would be cut off in 24 hours.

An automated system is calling my phone with a recorded message saying my IP address has been compromised. Multiple calls from this number.

Caller: A lady

Told me that my internet had a problem and IP addressed compromised. I just deleted the call.

Missed call from this number - checked this site - obviously scam. Won't be answering calls from this number.

Computerised female voice (Shirley) claiming internet compromised. Multiple calls from this scammer

Recording of msg begins halfway into the message; all that can be heard is "...countries so we need to change your IP address and router which will be free of charge. So please press 1 to get connected to the technician."

Not a valid Australian number so obviously spoofed for an obvious scam.
Same message. Dial 1 to be scammed.

bad call message, obviously a scam. These people obviously have nothing better to do than annoy others.

Asked me to press 1 to speak to a technician as my internet and IP Address has been compromised from several different countries. Just another scam......

Automated recorded message saying my IP address had been compromised and the internet would be cut off in 24 hours. It's the second message I've received today

Message left saying my ip and router have been compromised by several countries. So need to change free of charge ip and router press 1 to speak to technician. It was a pre recorded message

Woman with foreign accent telling me that my internet had been compromised in several countries, so it would be disconnected. Was instructed to press 1 to speak to the technician ... no chance of me doing that! Also, didn't even get the first part of the message because the robo-dialler didn't have a brain so didn't realise that they had to wait for my answering machine message.

Obviously a scam as ALL providers contact by email or snail mail
