As this was a missed call from this Number I returned the call only to be be informed by an Automated voice that the number was disconnected and to try again later.

Says "Hello ma'am, I am from Telstra - this is about your internet". We say we don't have the internet, thank you and good-bye". Won't say what I say after I hang up. Horrible people.

Received call from this number while out. Look suspicious. Will now block it on my landline.

Persistent caller who won't take no for an answer. Claims to be from Telstra but is obviously a scammer trying to con the unwary out of a hefty fee for ridding their computer of a non-existent virus. Telstra won't call you like these con artists. Just hangup or avoid answering obviously fake phone numbers.

Unsolicited call, telemarketing something, advised I was not interested and hung up. Annoying, why aren't these calls banned?

Calls, apparently an automated dialer from overseas, long silence and then says goodbye in automated voice before hanging up. Presumably trying to ascertain when we are home to take their scam calls as others have noted. Definitely not from Telstra

I just had the same Peter call me. He said I was being hacked from Mountain View California. I told him my IP address wasn't in MV. He asked me where it was, I told him I'm not telling him but it wasn't in MV. He got a little agitated and gave me his Telstra ID - TSC2676 and the ph - 0085231927420. I let him wait a while whilst I checked my IP and the things he wanted me to type into the RUN command box. In the end he just said "do you want to continue with the call"...I said no...and he hung up.

Said my email account was going to be disconnected, obviously Telstra don't care as they are making money out of all these bogus phone calls as someone is paying for them.

"Telstra" scam. I wasted their time for about 20 mins then swore at them in Hindi and hung up. They kept calling back all night and we just swore in Hindi. Fun times.

I let the answer machine get this call, "goodbye" is the message same as others. They are a waste of time ....... I should try out the "It's Lenny soundboard" on them see how long I can waste their time !!

Received a call from this number. Indian sounding caller stated that he was Peter from Telstra and wanted me to connect one of my devices to the internet. I said listen mate, you are not from Telstra and he hung up.

I've had calls from these people several times. I challenge their Telstra credentials and tell them their not from Telstra. Their response has been to call me a M##*%F*#%ker and hang up.
The number they call on is obviously a redirection to mask their true location. What I want to know is why the government allows call redirections.

Same as other people, it rings then a machine says goodbye. My guess is they are checking to see what time you are home before the scam artists call

Called yesterday, said he was from Telstra, something about my internet connection, very difficult to understand his English... I don't have any issues with my Telstra internet connection... then had another call from a woman about 5 hours later who I could barely understand, both had Asian accents, when I said I couldn't understand her English, she hung up, just had another call from weird number so didn't answer it...0458 216 7520 and (03) 7799 3739 29... too many numbers to be a mobile.

I let the answer machine handle unknown numbers. I heard zero then a voice generated "good bye". Telstra or scammer? Only the Phantom knows 🤔
