We received exactly the same recorded message with that same phone number twice today, after replying to a job ad. The phone no. doesn't even seem legitimate so I don't know what the scammers are getting out of it. We've reported it to Scamwatch.

I wouldn't be calling the number provided, however if you were concerned call the ATO on 132861 to make sure everything is ok.

A droning female voice saying she's from the Australian Tax Office, Don't disregard the call & ring (02) 1688 5611 immediately to avoid ???
