Caller: Scammers

I have had several calls from the same number in the past few days. They claim to be from Telstra, & that there is something wrong with my internet connection & say they can help me fix it. How I answer them depends on how I feel. Sometimes I just muck around & waste several minutes of their time, but yesterday I told "Daisy" that I had a gun & was going to come after her. She hung up real quick!

Caller: fellow claiming to be from Telstra.

Scam call - claiming to be from Telstra wanting details of our internet connection. Said there was something wrong with our security and he needed us to log on to it help him "fix" it. He hung up when pressed for details about himself and where he was calling from. Received a second call from a mobile number within ten minutes, with the same nonsense. 0441365236985
Both numbers answer with a "this number is not connected" message.

Didn't answer & no message was left, so will not ring back, bugger them.

Caller: Telstra Scammers

Just had a phone call from this number. They called again 10 minutes later. Am getting a lot of these calls so now I don't answer the phone anymore and just wait for a message to be left to see who is calling. These callers just hang up.

Who cares who it is? Not me! Unwelcome & unsolicited.

It sounded fishy, so I hung up.

Telstra internet connection scam again

They have called three times today. They never leave a message. Very very annoying.

Annoying four calls in one day, Telstra Guardian kept them at bay. Number now blocked.

Two calls this afternoon by a male with a heavy sub-continent accent who said his name was 'Jack', was from 'Telstra Technical' and there was a problem with our internet. Considering we're with Optus, I put this down to a scam.

Previous calls over the last fortnight followed the same procedure with various Indian-sounding accents claiming to have very Anglo names but all saying the same thing.

Same thing. We didn't answer, no message left even though it went to answering service. Sterting to sound suspicious since I'm not the only one reporting it in such a short time.

Person claiming to be from Telstra technical dept, saying my internet connection will be stopped. I hung up.
