Called me today but only rang for less than a second and didn’t leave a message. Never return those types of calls. If they can’t leave a legit message

Caller: an indian with a strong accent

This 'New Zealand' number has called a few times, rang back once was disconnected?

Knew my name when I answered then they hung up

Investment scam ,stripe ipo blah blah,New Zealand.
Asian (not Indian) voice ,male.

Asking to make investment ..

Caller: A person with a New Zealand number

Claimed last year I registered with them for investments. Ah not me, I have more debt than savings sorry to say.

I answered but no answer, blocked the number after the google folks brought me here.

This is scam number. I don't want to pickup the phone

Caller: Scammer

Received call from this number, caller was offering Stripe pre-IPO options or something. I asked what's your business address in Australia. Caller hang up :)

Caller: "Active Investors"

I think he said he was from "Active Investors" and had my details via Commsec. Claimed that "unfortunately" they had nothing to offer earlier but now they do. Told him I'm not interested, hung up and blocked the number.

Caller: Edwina Etepo Rokeni

supposed investment. Said got details from bank .... left him talking to self

Picked it up on the first ring; didn't hear anything after my combative inquisitive tone; they hung up

Scam

Unknown, no voicemail. Probably a scam. Calling into Australia from a NZ based number.

Caller: Scammers

Called by this number, talked for a while and listened to the scam. Queried them on the fact that they are calling from a cell number and acting as a licenced broker in NZ where i couldn't find a record of them. I then mentioned i work in FinTech Cyber Security and they promptly hung up. :)

Caller: Dodgy Investment Company

This company seems to have some type of data list from a Bank as they had addressed me in my legal name only used on the platforms. Very slick and organised. I think it generated out of the Philipinnes.
They are using dialers that wait until they hear a human voice.

Just received a call from this New Zealand number. Didn't answer and no message left. Block and delete.

Looks like from NZ, but I think an extra digit, so probably faked, hung up when I answered. Now blocked
