They called and left the robot message something about Telstra text message. Someone should have make this number illegal and get rid of it.

This message has come in 25 times since Friday, even at 11pm.
I am on VOIP and not Telstra landline. Rang Telstra. Helpful lady said it wasn't from them.
Rang my VOIP firm. They can't do anything either or block it. I am on the Do Not Call register. I have turned the sound down too almost zero, but could miss legit calls as a result.
Sister having the same number problem 180 km away.

Telstra has a service running from 0198339999.
It calls over and over, every 20 mins.
Surely they should know that a landline can't normally accept a SMS call.
They should be providing a way to have people block calls form this most annoying service.
Oh, of course it is Telstra. Can't expect too much, except being annoying.

They don't stop calling. I looked this number up last night after it called every 10-15 minutes, (finally took the phone and put it in another room so I couldn't hear it). Put the phone back on the cradle this morning and it's started again. I haven't sent any text messages so i don't know why this number would be calling. It's annoying, just doesn't stop.

This number has called me at least 10 times over the past 12 hours. Was still going late at night and I ended up having to leave the phone off the hook overnight. No idea how to stop it. Complete silence on the other end when I pick it up.

Text to voice message service. If you send your land line an SMS you'll get a call from it reading the text message out.

It's talking text. My husband send a text message to the landline. Talking text rang and a robot read the text to me.

I am on a work exchange number and have received six of this already this morning - none of them answered. So annoying.

Just like others, I have been getting this number ringing every 25 mins or so. I am disabled and have cancer and it is very annoying, How can we stop this. I have checked on Google and it says it is TELSTRA!!! but it is also saying it SPAM

I have received "Missed call" messages in my work outlook from this number but as they looked dodgy I have never called back. They always happen in pairs. Today I did call back and got a "Not in service" message.

automated message saying that I can view my super on line - then gave me options to press to get further info - then thanked me for being on Telstra, which I'm not.

They are still at it! Since 8 am this morning I've had 16 calls and as it's only 6 pm I guess I have several hours to go yet before they stop, IF they stop. They are certainly aggressive. I blocked this number some time ago and they were quiet for a while, but as many have said, the phone still rings once before the call is blocked, so I agree with other comments even this is annoying.

"It’s a good service actually". Sorry, but a good service doesn't repeatedly call you when there is no message for you to listen to. A good service would let you opt out. In fact, a good service is one that you actually want, not one that is imposed on you without your consent.

Buggered if I know why we are suddenly getting calls from this 'service'. It started as calls from 0198339100... I rang it back to get a recording that says call 0198339999 to access SMS messages... Called that number and guess what... no messages. Go figure. Just another nuisance wasting my damn time. I like to bill for wasting my time so if anyone knows who I can send an invoice to that would be great.

It is a message from someone you know. I just answered my call after ignoring it for hours only to find that a friend had sent a text to my landline instead of my mobile. It is hard to understand at first but listen a second time and you'll understand it. It will keep ringing until you listen to your message. Hope this helps.
