I got one call from them... I led them on and got very technical (I am a 47-year IT consultant..) The girl on the other end of the call eventually decided it would be better to refer me to their Tech Support Team, AND GAVE ME THEIR NUMBER. Yes, I call them (from my work mobile - no caller ID). Gave them a piece of my mind (what's left of it). No more calls from them - at all.

Yes, they are scams!!!!! I called this number and gave some my personal details, first name, phone number and email address... I was stupid. They said my computer got koobface which is a network worm and asked US$249.99 for security fee and then asked my date of birth...fair enough to doubt them, they are artful though. Pls don't call the number!

I almost succumbed. Luckily I acted on intuition and didn't reveal anything. Once they said that I needed a technician who was going to work with me for half an hour and that if was going to cost me $799 I knew it was a scam. I hung up, did some research and sure enough...I rang back and gave them a mouthful...it felt good! Take care everyone, the world is brimming with scum.
