1800 431 255 Number as only option to download Office 365 with N0740EX error.
Insisting on $250 for corruption removal and another $270 for life-time firewall protection. How do we get past this??

I had same experience installing Nortons on a new computer. I used Google search engine to locate Nortons setup instead of the typing www.norton.com/setup. I became suspicious when asked for credit card details for automatic annual renewals.

Got an office 356 2016 product from in store that said I could put it on my brand new computer and brand new Ipad and it went on my Computer fine and as soon as the activation key was entered in to the ipad it said a N0740EX error has occurred and I had to ring this toll free number to fix it. I had to grant acess to my computer to fix and he did a few things then ask for payment which at this point we declined and hung up I have taken photos of the website and his fake profile. his name was fred Williams who is an indian man with a strong accent and does not take no thanks for an answer. He spoke over the top of you trying to say that our network was 85% compromised and we needed his help immediately. I just hope I havnt let him gain access to all our devices. Do not fall for it.

It appears as a toll Free Number being the only option to finish your download.
