SCAM alert: got text message: "you've paid A1499.99 for V-CARD AUS*PayPal on 2021/07/27 please call (1800 861 943) to dispute

I got text message from 1800 861 943 saying Ive paid 1299.99 to Intellect Co ltd on 27.7.2021. I dont have a pay pal account so I rang the number. The lady asked me what bank was that with and I replied Im not telling you that information. She then hung up on me. What a scam!!

Must be scam as saying "I've sent a payment of 2500....." do not call them otherwise they can hack your bank account or any profile account by giving them your detail

Received onn 0459 674 375 payment alert, youve paid $1299.99 AUD @ paypal to Intellect Co Ltd, dispute or query 1800 861 943.
I phoned, got an indian lady who asked for my email address to send a code, and when I said how do I know if your from PAYPAL, she hung up, definately a scam as I got one last week and it was an indian guy, when I questioned him about being from paypal he hung up!

Received the same type of scam/phishing message. Errors include: grammatical mistakes, incorrect capitalisation and missing relevant information.

I received the same message dated today.... it's scary how many people will fall for this.

Same phone number as noted by others previously

Received a text today saying I had sent $2300 via paypal and to call 1800 861 943 to dispute it.

Definately a scam.

No number registered as sender though which is strange. Just came up as 'Info".

Bloody Scammers!

I got this message this morning:
#Security AIert; You've sent $1200.00 AUD For E-Card @PayPaI*VNC on 2021/07/27 TXN-ID#U315DRT14RT46FA, If NOT you, Call us now: 1800 861 943 For DISPUTE.!!
So I would say scammer, due to the fact I don’t even have that much money, nor have I spent that much ever!
