They tried to scam my mum. ABSOLUTELY SCAMMER, no one calls you and ask for your name, DOB and address without knowing who they are calling. Please stay safe and DO NOT answer any of the questions SCAM ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Definitely aSCAM foreign voice said she was from Centrelink wanted to verify who we were Definitely Not real

You DON'T HAVE to give them your details because you don't know who is on the other line. Tell them you will ring Services Australia yourself then hang up.

This is 100% a scam. Do not be fooled.

Before you call check your MyGov to see a copy of your SMS If it’s not there then it’s a SCAM. They wanted a voice print “Ia Australia my voice identifies me” then wanted my details which I refused to give They now have my CRN and voice but not my PID

I got a sms saying I must answer a call from a private number. I missed 2 of them. They wanted all my ID details. They said to Google and check this number. Then call him back. It is debt recovery but I owe no money and had just been to Centrelink. So I said what was the nature of the call. He said he couldn't even tell me the branch he was from unless I confirmed all my personal detail. Think it is a scam because he asked me specific questions. I said you would know that if you were from services Australia

centrelink will only call you from a private number

I used to work for Centrelink and the CES. The call was "Private Number" which is exactly what Centrelink/Services Australia use. I had called Centrelink yesterday but never answer Private Numbers first off anyway because of scams.
Very unprofessional sounding voice and garbled message so I checked the number here. Just based on the voice alone I would say it's a scam.

My phone blocks No Caller ID's but I got an automated message saying "Please call Services Australia on 1800 076 072" and nothing else.

Its a legitimate centrelink number for debt recovery. Might be worth the call back instead of hearing from a debt collector down the track.

They literally can't do anything right, they left a message saying they are from 'services Australia' anyone from cenno are inhumane criminals and the only thing they do well is when they want money from you even if they don't have the debt correct they don't do anything by the book or even listen to you

Genuine centrelink number. But be aware that there is a computer program that can fake which number a call is coming from. Treat with caution, verify by hanging up and calling number back.

Robot call from dhhs claiming to have a debt for ftb upon looking at mygov i have no debt so be careful people
