Received a message from "westpac" saying my account has been suspended and to click on the link to resume access. Gives this number to call. I am not a westpac customer and have no accounts with them. Seems like a scam.

Received a text message from '132032' with an alert about an unauthorised login from overseas; text urged me to call +161800953166. Scammer immediately identified himself as working for the fraud department and tried to trick me into transferring $3280 to a 24-hour emergency account they had set up (just for me!) to avoid the the fraud. Tried to convince me that my alias was Mr Junior Tshikele with the fake number 0473 649 883.

NEVER transfer money over the phone and always be critical of red flag signs.

This number was included in a text message telling me that my Westpac account had been suspended. It had a link, supposedly to my account to fix the problem. I ignored it and just logged into my account to test it, then blocked and deleted the text. I assume they included the number to make it appear to be from Westpac.

This is most peculiar. I, too, received an SMS (from number 0480 268 502 telling me that I am required to review and/or revise my contact details Said I won't be able to use Westpac services until I done so. Asking me to follow a link to https://westpac.review or phone 132032. The phone number wasn't a link, I would have had to actually dial it.
So, having decided that Westpac wouldn't be sending links, I decided to log into my account the normal way.
It wouldn't let me!!! So, I phoned them on the number that came up on the screen (which was a different, 1300 number) Had to reset my password. The guy on the other end was as confused as I was, as he says the 132032 number is their number. So, if I called that number I would have been speaking to Westpac, not a scammer

I called them (Westpac) as I wanted to replace my credit card having been scammed and the number is correct for Westpac so I don't understand how scammers can use it.

SCAM CALLS HAVE MULTIPLIED X100 since I have to leave my phone number in public view everywhere I go. So sick of scammers.

Do not bank with Westpac but got a message imploring me to ring this number to sign up for on line banking because it was essential I have on line access to banking during the present covid pandemic. Deleted. You need an account to sign up, something I do not have.

Received message for westpac saying new credit card on way, which I haven't ordered and to call 132032 or 1800 080 003 to or click web link to make sure correct address for delivery.

Another two messages in quick succession to "update my details " , scammers never give up.

Multiple text messages all tonight claiming my Westpac account had been blocked and yo log on or call etc. I do not have a westpac account AND the text was sent from a different mobile no: 0427 548 245

Received a text from 0416 498 070 claiming my Westpac Live access has been locked. Restore access by clicking on the 132 032 link or login using the link https://westpac-lockout.app

132032 (genuine westpac number) appears in the message body but the message is actually from another number - in my case 0416 015 239.

I keep deleting but they won’t stop 😫😫😫

Received a text message at 12.25am stating access to my westpac account had been locked and to click the lock and follow the prompts to restore access and also to call 132032. As I don’t have an account with Westpac blocked the number and then deleted text. Assume this is yet another SCAM.
