Moto National rocks.

I go to Gear Factory (07) 3889 6466) in Brendale to take advantage of their sale on jackets and gloves as I am in need of both!

Its a small hole of a shop. Stuffed with stock next to a dirty workshop (and no, they are not all that filthy). I wander in and start looking around. After being stared at by staff for awhile, I am finally approached and given some “oh if I have to help you” kind of service.

Well I’m here for the product not the people so after she walks away. I choose my items, pay and leave, reminding myself, not to refer this shop to my other bikers mates. Or revisit. EVER.

After only two months of wearing my Motodry jacket the stitching in the sleeve is coming away. Looks like it was sown a bit too close to the edge. These things happen. I ring Gear Factory up to have it replaced under warranty and by the end of the conversation I leave with this information.

* Clothing is 30 day warranty.
* Send it back to them and they will send it to the manufacturer for repairs.
* 6-8 weeks I will be without a jacket and nothing they can do.
* and a dose of I felt “yeah we really just don’t care what you do”

Sigh. I knew I didn’t like that store for a reason.

So I POLITELY call up Moto National where the jacket is made and talk to a really nice bloke. He’s like “6-8weeks! What?”, and tells me they are in Banyo (10-20mins from my work) and if I can come on in and show him the jacket and he will see what he can do, including a loaner jacket. WELL! I'm impressed and I haven’t even met the man yet.

Off I go to Moto National. They see the jacket stitching is faulty and BAM! Then and there swap the jacket for me and give me a receipt in case anything happens again, gives me a smile and wishes me a nice day.. Like wow! Like REALLY WOW! Now THAT’S customer service. Especially as they don’t normally deal with the public. I felt special.

Reminder to myself and others.. Motor Dry takes very good care of their customers.. It will be a brand name I will have no problem buying again. Thank you... You have my vote and my money.
