Caller: Card Services

Got a call from 1300 650 986 "card services" - had to replay it 3 times to be able to understand it. I actually called it and got Macquarie Bank. I have no account with them so I disconnected. I too have a Woolworths card (as mentioned above)

Today I received a Private number call, they left a message addressing me by name and surname and saying it is "Card Services", no bank mentioned. They asked to call this number and ask to speak to Josephine. I called my bank as the 1300 number is different from that on my card. My bank said that this is not their number and they will always leave a reference number.

Caller: Said they were from Woolworths

Unless it was a lucky guess, appeared to know that i had a Woolworths card and asked for identification details. I asked them to give me a number to ring back. They gave 1300 650 986. I googled it and got this site.

rang claiming to be card services, left a voice mail.. rang 12/07/2021 9.15am syd time voice message said its friday 09/07/2021 7pm sydney.. haha yeah must be a legit

Had call from this number purporting to be Macquarie. when they asked me outright for my address and DOB i challenged them that i dont know who they are at which point they gave me this number to call back on. no thanks!

I have received 3 calls lately from this number and ignored it. Have rung up Woolworth and they have informed me that they had been trying to ring me.
I have told them that I thought it was not legit thats why I hadn't called back as in the past No message would be left or they would call me on my home phone.
Have told them that in todays climate, people are weary of things like this.

Received a call from this number saying they were a Woolworth Credit Card service, I have have such, this is a scam i'm sure.

Also received a call from 1300 650 986 from name John at card services but did not state which company. Had both my first and last name. Checked Macquarie Bank website and this is not their credit card services number - after reading the above messages will not be calling back

Similar to the other cases - I received a call from a private number and got a voicemail asking to call back with no info on what it was about - which immediately made me suspicious. When I called they asked for my mobile number first and again would not tell me what it was about until I verified my details. They then said that they were calling from Credit Services on behalf of Macquarie bank. As I don't have any banking with Macquarie or outstanding credit accounts a quick internet search has lead me here.

Caller: Jetstar Credit Card

These guys area at it again.
Got a call from called ID: Jetstar Credit Card, didn't pick up, left a message to call them at earliest convenience. Thing is, i don't have a Jetstar Credit card. I am however concerned about where my private information is going and how easily these obvious scam artists were able to get that info to begin with!

Got a text today saying I needed to pay an amount today an hour after the provider said all was up to date. They even knew the name of the provider

my wife received a text message from CARDSERVE (does not show any number) telling us that our cc payment is due. we checked and it was not the case. we called on the # given 1300 650 986). it started with woman recorded welcome voice and then a man picked up the phone. This is from Macquarie bank, your payment is due. I then told him that we have nothing to do with the Macquarie bank. anxiously i asked him, where did he get our number from? and then without answering, the man hung upon me. Diffidently a Fraud Call. Be Aware Macquarie bank, someone is using your name to con people.

Caller: Macquarie Credit Card Debt collection

A debt collector came to my house during dinner time. We didn't hear him at the door so he left a card. I emailed and spoke to him that same night. He advised that Macquarie Bank had sent him to my house regarding unpaid credit cards. He also advised Macquarie had been calling me on 0433 ### 251 but I didn't answer. This is not even my mobile number!!! He gave me an account number for the debt, which is not even my account number. He said no payments had been made on the credit card since April 2018. I advised him that Macquarie has my mobile number and I talk to them every month. So in short, Macquarie has put my personal details on to someone else's debt. They cant contact the real person so they sent a debt collector to my house at dinner time when my family are home. Thanks Macquarie you stupid F@#n Bank. I now have to take a day off work to go into your office to sort out your f*ckupp.
