Recently I was with my partner on our boat fishing with another couple of guys on their boat.
To cut to the chase I was bitten by ? Blue ringed octopus. One call to sea rescue and they had an ambulance on stand by at the marina.
I never got to thank those people responsible for taking my call, which thinking back was probably a call which sounded rather scared coming across on the radio. At the time I made the call I was in unfamiliar territory but Jurien Sea Rescue were very calm and clear. I just had to get back to the marina as fast as possible.
I wish to thank everyone who assisted in making the call to the ambulance and medical staff to have them on standby.
You were unaware at the time but I also have a conditon called Parkinsons. I think my medication may have contributed to everything being ok. We are looking into that possibility a little bit more.
Anyway, a huge big THANKYOU to you all.
You do a wonderful job and it is so much appreciated. I just can't thank you enough.
