Overseas scammer using a spoofed (fake) national number. Pretending to be from "Master and Visa card transaction security department". Diverted to the scammer answering machine, I hope they enjoyed the chat with it.

Caller: Scammer Received a call to say my ANZ card had been scammed but in actual fact had not been as I found today. The person calling said that someone in Columbia had scammed my card - they said they managed to get back the money but the person in Columbia had sent extra because of the exchange rate and wanted me to purchase Neosurf vouchers to send back the extra money. Unfortunately this was a scam and I foolishly fell for it. The scam was to get me to send the money via the Neosurf vouchers. ANZ is looking into this so scammer be watchful you will get back Karma for what you did to me.

Just rang and told me that someone had put charges onto my card that they didn't think I had authorized. When I told her that I would log on and have a look at my bank transactions online she immediately hung up.
