Said they were from NBN and we were going to be disconnected in 24 hours unless I pressed 1 to speak to the technician. I delayed until pressing 1 then did so and got silence then the call finished.

Began with recorded message saying they were from Telstra and that my internet had been comprised, and that my internet would be disconnected, to press 1 to talk to a technician. I hung up.

Called didn't leave a message

An Aussie dude called to ask me to pay my taxes to the "ATO" as they are on to me. Told him to screw off and stop scamming people, he started getting aggressive and read out random lines from the bible. Weirdo.

Caller: Unknown- claimed to be TELSTRA

Claimed to be TELSTRA said he had a customer Id no to give me but didn't and he wouldn't have this if he wasn't from TELSTRA. I did hesitate he then said our internet was going to be cut off so I hung up. Same message my husband had from (07) 3185 0934 and I also received an automated call I received this morning that I hung up on! A lot of noise in the background - foreign sounding voice.

Caller: Local scammers

Very strong rural ascent, definitely Australian. Couldn't understand a word he said so told him to email me, that's when he told me to do one and hung up.

Same happened to me, I've had about 5 of these calls in the last week, 3 were recorded messages and 2 were actually people talking and it is becoming very disturbing. What can we do to report it?

When I answered their call there was no response, then the call dropped out.

I got the same phone call from these scumbags, I think they are the same group of Asian people who use to call using real people saying the same thing but I guess they got sick of people laughing in their face at this poor attempt to scam people.

Began with an automated message from 'Telstra' and to press 1 to speak to a 'technician'. I pressed 1 and was connected straight away to the scammer.
Once I told him to stop scamming innocent people he just laughed and tried to intimidate by reading out my address and saying very vulgar threats.

Asked me to press certain buttons on my phone to connect me to an NBN techo so my phone & internet service wouldn't be disconnected. Called Telstra, they say it is a SCAM

When I answer they hang up WTF It will be a cold day in hell if I ever call back.

Physhing for sure- I hung up without pressing any numbers

Caller: Scammers from India

Recording from telstra saying internet has been compromised and to press 1 to speak to technician, I pressed one to see what would happen. Indian answers straight away, told him to stop calling as this has been going on for months and hung up.
