Caller: "Telstra Technical Support"

They call to advise there is a problem with your internet, other people have been using it. She asked if I had shared my username and password with anyone else, and they need it to research who was using it.

Once they were advised that my ISP is not Telstra and that I would not provide my username and password, the agent's response was "well Telstra is the biggest internet provider in the world and it doesn't matter if you have services with them or not, we will still research it"

I just said, no it's not, thanks for your time (don't know why!! I'm in call centre - it must be ingrained!)

Definately a SCAM.
