Told me I placed an order for $249.99 and my bank account would be debited.

Left a message saying I had ordered something and my account would be debited ($249.99) I'm presuming its a scam call

Told me I placed an eBay order for $249.99 and my bank account would be debited.

Caller: Apparently eBay

Was a complete scam. they disconnected before I could work out what the attempt of the scam was. I gave them no information at all. Too unprofessional even for ebay.

call back for an order placed for 249.99

Message telling me I had placed an order for $249.99 and to call back to get a refund.

Left message saying they are going to debit my bank account. Don't know who they are and having made any online purchases for well over a year.

It is a scam call which I did not answer. Automated message saying $249.99 will be debited to your account and if you did not make the purchase then to call them back. Do not call them back if they call.
