Caller: supposed to be Microsoft

Someone posing as being from Microsoft wanting to update PC security

Scam offering to update my Microsoft Operating System once I log into my computer

Caller: Don't know; the guy had an indian accent.

Seems to be a scam proposing a Microsoft OS update. I was asked to log into my computer, which I didn't do suspecting something fishy. And they kept calling me about 6 times in a row & I didn't respond.

Caller: Unknown

Guy with a heavy Indian accent purporting to be from Microsoft. Said I made a call 'bout the middle of 2020 seeking assistance from them. Further said that because I had paid them I was entitled to a re-imbursement of approximately $230. Yeah, right.

Appears to be a scam proposing a paypal refund
