Caller: Someone claiming to be from optus Claiming optus is offering 30% cash back to customers for the next 12 months but requires credit or debit card details to enable cash back to be applied. Sends a text message to phone while on call supposedly with a code for optus and asks for code trying to prove they are from optus. Then tries to put through a debit to card for BHD 200.00 if you refuse to give cvv number for card. Says that BHD stands for best in-house discount. Beware BHD also is Bahraini dollars. This is definitely a scam call looking to get either your credit/debit card details and or authorisation to pay them monies through your bank account.
