Caller: Scammer claiming to be Telstra

They tell you that they will cut off your internet if you don't co-operate with them.
They get you to type eventvwr into a command prompt so that you open the Event Viewer.
Then Click CUSTOM VIEW > Administrative Events and they point out that there are errors listed in the box. They do this to attempt to convince you that some is hacking into your Telstra Internet account.
They then direct you to www.anydesk.com and try and get you to install the software so that they can remotely access your desktop.
They will then ask for a 9 digit number that the program gives you and this gives them complete access to your computer's desktop and they will begin to install all kinds of malware and crap in your computer.
I recorded the entire call and I would like to upload it somewhere for people to be warned about.
Tell them that "You refuse to install remote desktop access software and you know all about how they are a bunch of scamming turds in India."
The woman lost it at that point and told me to "Go Fk myself" and a whole bunch of other crap and then she terminated the call.

Caller: david - he said he was from Telstra technical department

I am a bit suspicious about this number - we get lots of calls from so called "Telstra technical department" - and the usual story about your internet that they can fix up. Be wary

Another Perth number to watch out for........(08) 9307 8283. Went to VM and did not leave a message so i called the number back and it said the phone was disconnected.

Called me today (24/4/19) at 11.30 am - when I picked up they hung up after about 10 seconds - Why can't Telstra give notice to these sort of people that their phone line will be disconnected if they carry out these scams

Caller: A computer generated voice

Computer voice said Telstra was going to cut off my internet.
It gave multiple options 1-4 to sound like real technical support.

A lady called saying she’s trying to fix the internet but she sounded so weird like a sick person? She said I had to turn off my computer and laptop when I said I don’t have one she hung up!!! Weird

Called this number back and it said party not available to take the call so it must me a scam

Who is this person who is continuously violating our privacy. We have a Gov: No call registration how can they still get through. So annoying
