Complete scam. Here's a writeup from another group

A NATIONAL Broadband Network alert has warned people not to respond to unsolicited callers or door knockers.

A call is received with a robotic voice claiming the call is from NBN Co.

Callers are told NBN is available in the area and their internet will be disconnected in 24 hours unless they connect immediately.

Listeners are asked to press 1 for a technician.

People who connect become a victim of identity theft, may lose money or be charged a premium call fee.

If something seems suspicious, NBN Co urges people to contact their phone or internet provider.

Internet supposedly going to be cut off. Saw Caller ID, contacted Telstra and they checked - absolute rubbish and is a scam. Telstra said, "DO NOT PRESS 1" as the recording asked you to. Scammers also use several other numbers.

As mentioned - began with claim that internet and home phone will be disconnected as we were meant to have gone to the NBN. Press I to talk to tech. Having had this call before I was already sure it was a scam, I decided to go one step further but at that point I was asked to complete a short survey - man with foreign accent claimed to be from Telstra, and was trying to convince me that my computer was being hacked - nothing to do with internet being disconnected in an area where the NBN is definitely not available yet!!!

I have been receiving daily calls from this mob who claim to be from the NBN. After checking with Telstra and the NBN Co., who confirmed this to be a scam, I decided to push button "1" as requested on the next call. Got an american voice this time saying "Thanks - We need to ask you a few more questions", then they hung up.

Caller: Robot. Australian female voice.

Same as everyone else. The voice said that we’d be disconnected within 24 hrs because of nbn unless we pressed 1. I just hung up. It was funny because nbn is meant to be finished by very late next year in our area.

Got a landline call from this number (08) 8853 2498). Let it go to message bank and hung up without leaving a message. If it was a genuine caller then they WOULD leave a message!

Just received the same recorded message as others listed here. Advising the NBN would be disconnecting my landline and Internet unless I " press 1 " to arrange connection to NBN. I did not press "1" as requested. If you have any concerns call your distributor directly.

Same number and a scammer with an Indian accent telling me our phone and internet would be disconnected unless I followed his instructions on my computer.
Claimed to be from the NBN and then Telstra technical department. These people are criminals and should be treated as such.

Same as above. automated womans voice saying press 1 to get an NBN technician, have had at least 3 calls in 2 days. Waste of time being on do not call register. Continue to get at least 4 to 5 nuisance calls every week. Quite often much more. Very annoying

Same as everyone else, NBN and I'm going to be disconnected within 24hrs. A complete Scam considering NBN wont be available in my area for at least another 6-8 months if we are lucky.

Auto pre-recorded call saying NBN are going to disconnect landline in 24 hours and I should press 1 to speak with a tech. call then disconnected
Contacted the NBN support and verified this was a scam call. This was the second call of the day, same number, same details.
