Unknown scammer directed to answering machine

Call centre. Asian female who ended the call after her second hullo got no response.

Scammers - "Telstra Technical Support" - You have a virus on your computer". They call regularly, they must enjoy the chat with our answering machine because they keep calling despite being blocked - scam the scammer!

rang up about my computer, said I don't have one they hung up immediately.

Third time this number has called in past few days. No message left on answering machine.

My poor Asian accent + pretending to log into my PC worked a charm. Once I 'logged onto' their scam website, I simply said, in a deep voice, how we have their IP and are promptly sending someone over and that their networking systems are about to be crashed. I never even got to say goodbye to the helpful man :/

Answered call from young lady , sounded Indian...Started conversation about computers.....knew it was a scam ..kept on ringing back...called back 4 times so I took phone off hook...reported number to police ...they say it is a Murray Bridge number...they will investigate with Telecom to find the people
