pura tap trying to rip me off yet again!!!!

Puratap rang me at 7:45pm... lol fools if you think I'm answering outside of normal business hours let alone nearly 8pm. Unprofessional! At least leave a VMail to state your reason!
Is it even legal to call this late? Who governs this?
I'm sure this companies Ceo wouldn't like us to call him/her, & harass them at this time of night too, so DON'T DO IT TO US!!!

Soooooo annoying, home phone goes off, then mobile goes off - I know this number off by heart now. They call as late as 8pm!!!!! Very persistent :(

why don't you all keep records of your calls from them and contact office of business and consumer affairs and let them help you deal with the underhandedness of this company?

These people have been calling me non-stop saying my filter needs replacing again, even though it's only been a few months since the last one. I've told them it doesn't need replacing yet, and that they are harrassing me, and they've said they'll wait for me to call back, but then start calling me again. Even called to say my payment failed and that my real estate agent has confirmed they were given the ok for an appointment - both of which are completely untrue. They then called my son, who told them he thought it was probably too soon for a replacement, but they insisted so he agreed to an appointment. I've told him to not let them in and, after confirming with my real estate agent that they did not make payment, asked them to follow up with them. Seems like a lot of leg work on their part for a silly filter...?

I received a call at 8.52pm last night. No message left on my voicemail. So annoying. Leave a message next time. I will call back if I need to.

They are so annoying it's like they are phone stalking me, I actually said to one person that called from Pura Tap for the 100th time that I have already spoken to someone and did say to them that I will call them when I am ready I ended the conversation by saying "this is a form of harassment" to which she replied "so sorry we will wait until we hear from you".

Puratap called me at 8:00pm. How about leaving family in peace. An email, letter will be enough. Not 5 miss calls over 2 days!!!

As a Puratap caller, this is not how to get rid of us. :p Honestly the easiest way is to plainly say you moved house and left the PT there. You'll get letters reminding you to change your filters every three months or so, but that's easier than constantly being called, right?

Hi thanks for this, my partner no knows how to avoid them. We like using them but as we are away frequently now we don't use as much as previously. Mmmm you would think that wouldn't be difficult to politely explain to a consultant. Tried to pressure us to replace filter when obviously it didn't need it as yet. Yes I'll continue to screen our calls.

I find their constant calls harassing! Although I like the water filter, their strategy of calling early and putting on the guilt about water safety is absurd and a ridiculour money grabbing stunt.

Got a phone call at 7pm. Proceed to ask about the nature of the call for the male attendant to start hitting on me! Asked me wen a good time to come around and service my pipes!!! Nothing to do with a filter

There are other ones but I wouldn't waste your time they are crap as. If you think there service as bad, at least they have some! you wont even be abel to get in touch with other companies for service.

Pura tap constantly ring and harass because they state our Puratap filter needs replacing. Why can't I just buy my own filter and replace when I'm ready without having them exclusively provide and fit - its the way they make their money. Very annoying, I would like to remove the Puratap and obtain a better after sales service from another company - one where you don't continually get harassed. Anyone know of an alternative to Puratap?

called at 9.08pm (ie evening). I missed their call and rang back only to get music. Since discovered the number belongs to Puratap.

Constant calls and hang ups with no message left on mobile - who are they - we don't have a filter!

calls my mobile at 7 pm, then says hello, hangs up when i answer back and then calls the home phone and hangs up....why not stick to business hours??????
