Caller: Automated message

Left a number to call back in an auto-call voice. No other details.

Got the same recorded message yesterday 20/11, didn't call back.

Rang once and hung up. I changed my mobile to private so my number wasn’t displayed and called back about 10 minutes later. Answered but no voice or message, just silence. Suspect it’s a scam call based on what other people have said. Blocked number

Didn't pick up but they left a message saying a gift card was purchased, if I wanted a refund I had to call back

Have a voice to text saying "Left card. If you want to cancel a refund call us at (08) 8121 8488. Thank you."
Suspicious.

Automated call telling me $199 being debited from my credit card

Scam - said she was from ebay and wanted my credit card for 199 r

Automated spam caller telling me about an ebay purchase. Like the others said.

Caller: Scammer pretending to be from ebay

Greeted with automated call 'This is ebay. Your credit card will shortly be charged $199.99 for purchase of iTunes gift cards. Call 1900 SCAMMERS if you do not wish this to proceed" I instead rang (08) 8121 8488 and they also said they are from ebay - but ebay confirm they have no such service number, and will never make an unsolicited call, but will email instead. Same as above! Machine saying $199 being charged from my credit card and if want to cancel call xxxxx number.

Message said "Your credit card is being debited with $199 for the purchase of itunes gift card - call back if you do not want this to happen"

Got a robot voice telling me my credit card was about to be debited $199.99
Didn't call the number.

Scam caller, saying my credit card had been charged $199 on itunes cards. Who even uses itunes these days? geesh.

Caller: They said it was Ebay

They told me they would debit my credit card $100 for a gift card I’d purchased. I told them I didn’t purchase a gift card & I would let the federal police know. She hung up. I’ve let the real EBay know about this so they can deal with it.

Automated call saying $199 being charged to credit card and ring the number if any queries with the transaction.

I got this call except they claimed to be from Ebay. Scam for sure.

Telling me $199 will be taken from my ebay account. I was not aware I had an ebay account.

rang me at 4am was not impressed!
