Caller: Claimed to be from TRC PLANT & EQUIPMENT

I saw an Excavator for sale on Market place.
Made contact through market place and then emails and by phone.
Business was in South Australia.
ABN checked out.
WEB page checked out.
BSB is from bank in Victoria!
Address is in a farming/rural area.
Local police have no recollection of this company in this area.

TRC Plant & Equipment is a reputable company, honest people. My business has dealt with them for decades. They are based on Eyre Peninsula. Fraudsters (Associated with a demolition contractor in Adelaide - who have stolen 2 excavators from a hire equipment company) have somehow got hold of TRC's name and are pretending to be TRC on marketplace.

We got scammed too

Abn was legit,invoices looked legitimate even sent a product video tour while talking to us scammer!!!!!

he said his name was Damien even sent us a video tour of the container while saying our name...anywho complete scammer

They claimed to be the ATO telling me my Tax File Number was about to be canceled and I was in danger of being arrested.
