Recived 2 calls ..just call and blank..nothing on the other end!

Call rang, rushed in from outside to be greated with a voice saying Hmmmm! Then hang up. So irritating and unnecessary.
Four calls today. Sent POLITE email, expressing frustration plus annoyance at persistence of callers, to this contact found on their website:

let the call go to answer machine or message bank - they pay for the call and soon they may go broke. hopefully.
This number keeps calling me and I have just got the phone it is so annoying. There is never any one there and when I call back there is nothing...no one.
I answered the phone and no one spoke, so I kept the line open for over 30 minutes to run up their phone bill
This number called me this afternoon. I answered on the second ring and there was no one on the line and then it was hung up.
I have had the same problem. No-one is ever there when I answer or try to call this number. I am so sick of these telemarket calls and will NEVER buy or donate money to anyone who rings.

I've emailed their CEO and told them that consistenly calling and hanging up is paramount to harassment. See what happens next....
PattyI got a call on my mobile from this number today but no message was left. So I called it back and got a message saying, "Thanks for calling Kidney Health Australia. Please call 1800 454 363 to find out about our services and products".
AlI too have had calls from this number in the past but I am not convinced it's kindey australia. KHA *claim* to subscribe to the "do not call" register and I have had all my numbers registered since the list came out.Calling back does not get an answer and they never leave a message - sounds more like scammers or "when are you at home" testers...?Surely this type of rubbish is a great case to publish reverse phone books? That way all people would be more accountable if their targets could identify who was spamming them. Either that, or there should be the equivalent of a blacklist so that the calls don't even get through... meh, ignore me... I'm venting!
FroggyI get at least one missed call each day (I work) and they never leave a message. It's usually a private number. Today I got a missed call (again, no message) from (08) 7423 0504. It's really driving me crazy! leave me alone! I am on the Do Not Call register as well, but apparently charity organisations are allowed to call. They are the ones we DON'T want calling!
JoThis number called me for Animal Welfare League, so obviously a call centre for charities, or a company scamming for credit card details.
