I too have received contact from this number. My Optus bill is always in credit. Glad I know not to answer calls from this number. I will block this number now.

Had the same thing, didn't answer their call but they never rang long enough to leave a voicemail... Strange. Has happened twice this week now.

I get a call from this number every day and they hang up when I answer. I'm with Optus but not late with bills.

I get this call 4-5 times a week. Im not with optus - never have been! I have never answered the calls - knowing who it is from the above complaints. They have been calling for many months now.

Yeah, they usually call me if I am a week or two late in paying my phone bill. They sure are not patient in threatening to cut me off. Bastards. Way to try and intimidate your customers Optus, it's not like we don't know what will happen if we don't pay it.

i am sick and tired of getting these calls. The numbers change constantly,but are always the same company. I am listed on do not call register but clearly its not doing much.

I am SICK AND TIRED of getting these calls everyday!! If it is optus they shouldn't be calling me. I have already had a very colourful conversation with them about marketing calls when they would not stop calling and asking me to upgrade when I had already done so. They agreed to only contact me by mail or text from then on so this makes me quite angry!

I too have had the same problem for the past 5 days. They just hang up as soon as I amswer. This is very annoying. There should be a system introduced whereby you can bar numbers from calling you at no expense to you. I have tried in the past, but did not think it was fair I had to pay to bar an unsolicited number calling me.

This is a optus number which has a recorded message when you call back saying they were just calling to see if your happy with the service you have been using.
