Caller: Indian sounding chap claiming to be from Telstra

The line goes that Telstra has been monitoring attempts to hack my computer and that the Indian chap wanted me to give him remote access to it so as that he could remove the viruses. I said that I was with Dodo. He said that all the other internet companies went through Telstra and quoted a Telstra Employee ID number and name. I asked him politely not to call again.

Called but I don't answer unknown numbers that I'm not expecting. They didn't bother to leave a message so must be another telemarketer scammer.

Did not answer as my new S9+ identified it as a spam caller. Now blocked.

They asked for who I can only assume is the previous owner of this number, as I have had several other calls for "Judy" from other numbers. I told them I wasn't Judy and that she no longer owns this number and they need to remove the number from their database, he started speaking in another language at me, not to me. I have no idea what he was saying but his tone said it wasn't pretty, I asked what he said then he started taking the piss out of my Australian accent and hung up.
My husband called the South Australian number back and asked for the supervisor and was promptly put on hold.

I am loving my Samsung S8 more each day. It says "SUSPECTED SPAM" when this number poppped up on my screen :-)))))

Be careful they are phishing info from somewhere. I said nothing and they still had me first name. Be careful. Informed scammers!!!

I've had numerous phone calls from numbers like this or from Victoria. A few have asked if "Antonio" is there. Very suspicious. Obviously spam. Have blocked some when I think to do it but they just change numbers and keep calling. If I'm on to it quick enough, I don't even answer. Am very annoyed and sick of it.
