Said I have a tax refund, just wanted my debit card details to 'update' my account.
Said his name was Ray Hamilton, but could not answer how he got my number.
Beware!

TAX Scammers, asking for my credit card information!

Indian man called me to gain my visa card details and he was pretending to work for the ATO!! As soon as I said "You're joking me right?" he hung up.

SCAMMERS impersonating the ATO requesting bank details:

Missed call on my (work) mobile, I called the number (08) 7200 7074 back.
Person answered in a fumbled manner and knew my name (assume from my voice mail) advised me I had a refund owing from the Tax Office and needed to update my debit details to receive it.
I said I would check this out myself and thank them, they turned aggressive.
I hung up and reported it to the ATO Scam Department.

Fake ATO "You have a tax refund, just need your visa card details!" I told him to keep it :)

these pieces of sh*t are still going. Some arsewipe said "Im calling from ATO refund department" and I said "I'm sure you are". He said f*ck you and hung up.
