ATO scammer what a goose

I just received the call from this number: (08) 7100 1136 Jim Anderson from "ATO"
I called back with not answer. So far, now the scammers have my number as a valid number and maybe will do more scam or will try to hijack my phone. I'm worried about the consequences of having returned the call

I have a call from this number this afternoon and he left a voice message that I have avoided tax and there's a warrant against me!

Someone said exactly what the previous story , it's about unpaid tax and do not ignore it or they will issue warrant under my name he has Indien accent I believe.

They were pretending to be the ATO and have a warrent for unpaid tax, and to call back some which they repeated really fast and then hung up. Just spoke to the ato, they said that if at anytime some one from them would call, they give you a number which is publicly listed and all there Id. Don't call them back but report it to the ato they have a task force out to try and catch the d*ck heads!

James Anderson from ATO left a voicemail with an urgent message. Sounds bloody dodgy tho me. I'm not responding.

Apparently there's a warrant out for my arrest for avoidance of taxes... had the same call 4 years ago... haven't been arrested yet... these parents of these scammers must so f***ing proud of the a*holes they've raised.... get a life

'James Anderson of the ATO' calling about 'tax fraud / avoidance complaint on your name' and to call them back immediately or they'll get a warrant.

This is a scam call saying that they are the ATO. Is there anyway to shut down their numbers?

Sounds like a scammer.
The guy claims he is James Anderson, calling from the Australian Taxation Office. He has an accent that could be Mexican.
He says he is contacting me regarding a legal complaint for tax avoidance and tax fraud.
I called him back today and asked who it was and he said he is "The Father" "who you slept with last night", if I heard him correctly.
Sounds extremely dodgy.

Definitely a SCAM! Beware.
ATO would never use a dodgy recorded message, they'd use mail then possibly debt collection agency etc.

Spam call, it came to a business line. Claiming to be from the ATO. Definitely not a legitimate call.

A scammer pretending to be from the Australian Tax Office. He said his name is James Anderson and gave this number. He went on to say that there is a legal complaint against my name and that legal complaint involves tax fraud and tax avoidance. He said to avoid him taking legal action against me that I should contact him on this number immediately. This is all a complete lie. I called the ATO and reported this as a scam and they confirmed that it was.

Lawsuit against our company requesting a call back - this is spam!!!!!!
