called no answer. bloody annoying

I think this number belongs to Australia Post, I complained yesterday re a delayed delivery and the form would not go in if I didn't add my phone no. In my case it rang today, there was a man when I answered but 08 pre-fix is from Qld and it sounded terrible and inaudible. He hang up, so when I called back I got the same as you all. Msg bank full. Is either Austpost or a contractor who have massive call centres and service a bunch of companies

24x7 direct, selling life insurance, had my name and knew the area I lived in, asked how they got my number and they said "that's ok, if you don't wish to be called I can take you off the list" and hung up straight away

S C A M if only we could hear the abuse on extension 500..../block/don't answer/

Also . I beware traffic infringement scam i got 2 yesterday, total hoax,

got a call from this number...didnt answer but they left a voicemail..female saying " no-one wants a free iPhone today"...now blocked

When I answered nobody spoke so I hung up...these days I use the 2-3 second rule. This usually gets rid of the telemarketers :)

Are they trying to scam or use any identification at all. I got a call from this number . The man said is this Belynda? and I said yeah.. then they hung up okay?? wTF

I get all these calls ever since I asked Telstra to not charge me extra for a "service" that they offer you which consists of them not selling your details off to Data Providers. So they now sell my details to Data Providers. They have your name, address, phone number, date of birth amongst other things. Thank you Telstra....

Who are those people

Went to answer as was expecting call from 08 areas.
Phone hung up. Did not try to call back.
