It's the UWA alumni group reaching out and seeking donations. Legit and a worthy cause, although I don't necessarily enjoy people calling and asking for money!

See the comments here from and know the number is from UWA alumni, recalled that they called last year and asked for donation as well. But called at 7.30pm WA time, do they work up that night nowadays??

I am not a UNI Wa student and i am on the do not call register. Bloody annoying calling at night on a work number. SCAM!

UWA student claiming to be interested in discussing my studies as she has similar interests - and she knew exactly what degrees I have. I got off the phone real quick before she got to the part where she tries to guilt me into giving the Uni more money. They've called back several times at different times of day and I have rejected the calls.

They've rung me half a dozen times in the last two weeks, at all different hours.
