said he was calling from CTP regarding an accident in the last 12 months - wasn't able to provide any details, date of accident or vehicle type - when pushed for details they hung up

probably the same scam . was disappointed cause i could really use the money......bastards

I received a call today from a person called Phil. He had a broad Scottish type accent. He did not ask my name, just said "he was calling re the motor vehicle accident I'd been involved in
When I asked "when did accident happen ? "
I got the hung up beep beep.

as per the others, they asked if i had been involved in a car accident during the last twelve months. They hung up when I requested further information. Information on the net says they are "compensation touts" and to regard them as a scam, which is what I'm going to do.

That number called (my mobile) & didn't leave a message. I called back (on my mobile) and I could hear call centre type noise in the background. The woman said who they were but he accent was so thick I couldn't understand, I even asked twice and still didn't understand. She then went on to say something about a motor vehicle accident having been reported in the last 12 months. I said NO, she then asked if anyone has reported one, again I said NO. She said there must have been a mistake in their data and I hung up.

I then called on my work land line. This time there was a recorded messages asking me to stay on the line for the next available agent, so I did. This time I got an British speaking man again with a thick accident. I asked him twice again who he said the organisation was, and he confirmed they were called 'Follow up services", he then went on to say he had information on his database that said my number had reported an accident, he then asked if they could help. I say I didn't have an accident and that I was fine. We ended the call.

I was called about 2 months ago from this number and kept getting asked for someone, could hardly hear them there was a heap of background noise. When they’d realise I wasn’t who they wanted they would hang up. Called them to asked to be removed from their list of numbers and they have decided to call again. Best to ignore this call
