I just called back this number (multiple missed calls) and asked who the company was that had been calling me constantly. This guy said they were an information referral service called 24/7 and they worked in the insurance industry. I told him thank you and that I never wanted to be called by them ever again and the guy on the phone said fine! I was pretty firm and he was pretty sh*tty with my tone but hey maybe this will stop me getting called!!!

I received a call from a (07) number on Saturday from "Insurance Line" and I asked them to not call me again. Just now I recieved a phone call from this (08) number and missed the call. I am assumingit is from the same company. I have entered into 1 competition (Sunrise cash Cow) last week, and I vote on the X-Factor but that is it. I'll think twice about entering in future if this is the outcome..

I dumbly entered a farmers union iced coffee competition many times, Iv ben getting these calls on my mobile every day sinc. I am never gonna enter competitions ever again

Its got me stuffed, I never ever used to get these calls on my mobile, now it seems that just about every scammer in australia has my number. FUNNY THAT!! ITS NOT EVEN A REGISTERED NUMBER!! IS TELSTRA AND OTHER PHONE COMPANIES SELLING OUR NIMBERS TO THESE d*ck HEADS. IM SICK OF CHANGING MY NUMBER.

Called twice today - 08 prefix

I get calls from this number, and similar numbers, almost every day! I'm sick of it!! I never answer. You'd think they'd give up, but no.

Next time they call just answer by whispering, "It's been done. But there's blood everywhere." Then hang up. HAHAHAHHAHAHAA... for annoying me I will get pleasure from screwing with their minds.

These are coming from something I dumbly completed with Ticketmaster to win a competition. Harassment started after that.

I had a missed call also - seems every call centre in the country has my mobile number. I noticed a lot of people noted that they have blocked the number - is this something you can do yourself of do you have to do it via phone service provider..?

Had the pleasure of them pestering my number for a few weeks now. Same thing everytime from 3 different area codes first 02 then 03 now 08. Answer the call they hang up... return the call extension blah blah blah is busy leave a message... sorry message bank is full. (Except onetime I answered in my receptionist voice and the guy got confused and answered me back with a hello when I said goodmorning how may I help you? ...haha... idiot! He realised I had messed with his brain and quickly hung up embarrassed... I could feel him glowing red over the phone!) Anyway the 02 number when googled takes you to a company webpage for Optimal Transnational p/l their abn has been active from august 2013 under that name and previously Scandium businesses p/l from april 2013. How many times will they continue to call?... who knows?... I know I should just block the numbers... but messing with their brains is gratifying in some small way... for now!!!

I had a missed call on my mobile from this number too - I have not returned the call after seeing this thread. Don't know how they got my number either.
