Scam - Asking for personal info for a free phone. Had fun trolling them and making them wait, haha! Harassed them by calling them again and again, just to get a sweet taste of how annoying it is to harass people like us on a day to day basis.

Caller: Young man asian accent Called talking about 50% of a smart phone in a promotion. Couldn't verify his company ACN (apparently he wasn't authorised to give out that info lol), couldn't tell me where he got my number from. I asked him about his scam and he talked to me for about half an hour trying to convince me he wasn't a scammer. When I told him what an idiot he was that I wasted his time so he couldn't scam anyone else in that time he forgot what scam he was doing and tried the romance scam on me. Eventually I had to go and hung up. He then called me from about 50 cloned numbers one after the other. I kept answering and putting him on mute, then tried screaming into the phone. Free entertainment for the evening, idiot couldn't bother anyone else in that time at least while I tied him up.

Caller: (08) 6263 9233 Scam. I called from a different number. The lady answered and I asked if this was a scam. She got offended. I asked if she was planning to sell me a phone. Sure enough! I laughed and hung up

Caller: Scammy Scammington Told me I’d won a new phone. Told them I didn’t want it as my Nokia 3210 still worked fine. They doubled down by telling me I’d won the latest Nokia phone and they needed my details to send it. I gave them some fake info , hung up, and blocked them.

Had them phone twice around 9am WST today. Did not answer and they don't leave any message - blocked umber afterwards Nowadays one has to be careful of these scammers just trying to get snippets of your voice (particularly if you say you name) for AI purposes that you may never find out about until it's to late
