I called back the number (08) 6245 0351 and reached vm that said I reached Commonwealth Bank

Caller: Scam call - confirmed

I phone commonwealth bank independently and it’s a scam. Their advice is to not only not answer it but report it and delete the voicemail that is left and block the number.

Its a scam

I answered the call and it was a recording saying it was the commonwealth bank and to press any key to continue, hung up as it was saying the call was a Perth number with SA Area code.

I received the same message

I have been getting a call daily for almost two months now

Despite the other reviews of this number, it is definitely not a scam. I called it back and listened to the voice record. It stated information about “talk to Ceba if you would like to apply for financial hardship” and then said “our records indicate that this phone number is linked to account 3750 if this is correct…”
My credit card is currently $45 overdrawn and that is the last 4 digits of it.
It is the debt collection side of CBA. If this number calls you, pay your sh*t haha. Only scam about this is that they are chasing me for $45 thats been overdue for 5 days. Tough times with their billion dollar profits for the financial year just passed

I also received a phone call from this number and it was flagged as spam. I didn't answer it and googled the number, which brought me here. Thanks to previous people reporting for alerting me.

They left voicemail saying they were from Animal Bank. Scam
