Caller: supposedly Telstra

called twice I queried that they were Telstra, the person offered his Telstra ID number.
He started asking questions about Telstra with NBN and how I should hurry up and connect. I said if he was indeed Telstra he would already know that the answer to that question. He went away to his "supervisor" came back said everything ok. If I try and call Telstra I am on the line waiting hours to talk to someone. How does this work?

Said he was from Brisbane but he was calling from 08 WA number I so hung up as probable scam

(08) 6228 4166 - Call them back and they clearly state they operate on behalf of Telstra and say that if you're not interested in Telstra marketing calls from them then you can opt out now by pressing a number ( I forget). Sounds all above board to me. Not foreign spam/scam calls.

If it's genuine they should leave a message.

Has called twice.... each time rings 2 or 3 times only...when I answer there is a delay and then it hangs up.

Not a known number. Didn't leave a message so I won't be calling back.

Got a message saying that they are from Telstra and are there to prepare for your cut you over to the NBN, initially sounded legit but then started asking questions and making statements that did not seem like Telstra (asking about how I felt about my internet speed etc and was it up to scratch). Sounded like total crap, hung up and blocked the number.

This number has called me the last two Thursdays. My phone rings once, then they hang up. Starting to get annoying!
