are you also getting "prank" phone calls from Telstra​ recently? I have been receiving in excess of 5 "prank" phone calls from Telstra. They all originate from the number (08) 6228 4105. Telstra calls me unsolicitedly at random times whilst I am in business meetings or driving my car. As soon as I answer, they hang up. When I return the phone call on that number, I hear an automated voice saying, "Hi, this is Telstra, we just wanted to check up on you, blah blah blah." – there is no way to speak to a human. I want these phone calls to stop. Not just for me, but for everyone. When you google this issue, you will see that this is a big marketing scam that Telstra is running, and is affecting a large number of your customers who get harrassed by you in this unethical way.

They just keep calling and never leave a voice message, bit creepy! Ended up blocking the number.

Received from Telstra, as a result of mail sent. They launched into asking my personal details / security questions, to which I cut them off and asked to verify by calling back. The girl gave me a telstra ID, name and said to call Telstra back on 13 22 00.

They say they are from Telstra, but they were trying to discuss the home phone plan with me and our home phone is in my husbands name. Telstra only deals with the person who's name is on the bill. Sounds dodgy to me, only answered to stop the calls everyday.

a scam don't answer Asking for date of birth and other info, already had my whole name saying there from telstra, and they don't stop calling.

I have complained to Telstra. The number is associated with a marketing company employed by Telstra. Their association may not continue

Prank call that went to voicemail. The guy said "hello" and then ripped a huge fart into the receiver. Then he hung up.

It IS a Telstra message. Its a "Thanks" for setting up an account. Hey Telstra, not cool!!! We give you our business and you phone spam us - WTF?? STOP IT!!!

Had several of these calls. Called Telstra, who say it's not them but a scam.

did that fix the issue if you call them back

this number left me a VM. it was a young girl addressng me by my first and middle name.

Was telstra.

Same here, hangs up when I answer.

Call six times a day no message left, never answer it.
