How do u stop this number ring i answer said not intertest and now getting call too often !!!! So over It!!!

This number has been calling twice a day for a couple of weeks at random times. I checked in here to find it is a Telemarketer calling on behalf of Telstra. I rang Telstra 1800 805 996 and they blocked it for me for free. They can block about 15 numbers for you so keep the number handy :-)

I did answer their call, ended up saving me $37/ month in phone charges. So it's up to you if you want to save money, being still on Telstra or keep paying the same amount when you don't have to. An alternative would be to go into your local Telstra shop to get a better deal. Your choice! Telstra wants to keep you as a customer.

Trying to force onto NBN

I was with Telstra and every Thursday I would get a call from a number that I would ignore because I didn't recognize it. Then about 30 min later a number that was withheld called so I used to ignore that as well. This went on for weeks - then I changed to optus but I use the old phone as an extra alarm in case I sleep through the first alarm and guess what the calls stopped! I don't think it was telstra calling as I phoned the number late at night when I figured no one would be in the office and the answer machine said it was telemarketing but not what they were doing research on. I wondere if it was for telstra or they are getting live numbers from them.

Wanted to talk to me about my plan. Quite sharply told them that I didn't want to talk to anyone from Telstra as I am looking at leaving them - this is true as they just changed my plan w/o permission and it is soon to be $20 more per month. I quickly hung up - will complain when I call them about leaving.

I work for TSA Group, we are contracted by telstra to sell telstras products, recontract and help customers out. We only ring to help out customers, let them know what we have available and give customers the best for there money.
Also, whinging when you get 5 calls a day, if you dont answer your phone, your number gets recycled back into a dialler that we call again till the number expires. Dont think we sit here and dial your number over and over. There is no need to be rude when we call you, you can ask nicely for us to take your number off and we will do so, if youre rude, expect to be called again. Being rude gets you no where :)

Seeing this call was working for Telstra it seems, won't hold breath waiting for

This is a Telstra telemarketing company.
I have an unlisted number and I'm not with Telstra and haven't been for well over 10 years. I DON'T want these calls! I rang the number and tried to use their menu to opt out but had to give all my details.
If an unlisted number still gets these marketing calls the Do Not Call Register (which is optional) won't make any difference.

Telemarketing...not interested

Every day. Up to three times a day these brain dead pricks ring and hang up when i answer, if i was to do this to a number which i picked randomly from the phone book it would be a police matter.. So why are these mongrels (and all like them) allowed to do it. I am totally pissed off. Come on authorities.. Get some balls... And stop this rot.
