Just had the same text message but for a Caroline. I don't know a Caroline!!!

Asked for my husband ...and asked me to ask him if he knew a lydia smith he had to pass on a message to him when I asked what details the caller said they were looking for a relative of lydia and it was my husband who shared the same surname all hey could tell me was she was 33 and that they needed to speak to my hubby straight away

Message to call regarding Gino or to pass on the message. Don't know a Gino...

Caller: Geraldine

Said to call regarding Matthew, or pass on the number. Text me from 0427 860 838 to ask me to call. Told them I don't know any Matthew. Think this is a scam!

They had my name correct but asked me to tell Donald to call them. Stated they got my name from a public record in relation to a Donald. I do not know any Donald. They suggested "perhaps an old housemate?". Stated they could not disclose which company they were calling from. Suspicious. Could be a scam to confirm the records they have for names and phone numbers are correct. Be wary
