Automated message left on my voicemail claiming to be from Ebay, said a charge of $242.26 would be debuted automatically from my account unless I called a number (which doesn’t exist) or pressed 1 to speak to a representative.

Received call, female with Indian accent saying that she is from ebay and that my account was used to purchase a gift card for 199.99 and wanting me to confirm it. I hung up on her and logged in to my ebay account to check for myself (it wasn't true).

Caller: Ebay Scammers

Called me saying they were from ebay that I maybe being scammed by gift card fraud from other country and that we should report it immediately. They said we could fill out over the phone a fraud report to stop the so call transaction through my mobile phone being link to a bank account. Imagine being scammed by the helping scammer. If it was Ebay they would send you an email via your own account. HeadsUp. Rang them several times on a different mobile phone and they would just hangup. I could call them all day during covid waste there valuable time.

Automated robot stating a purchase of $299.99 was placed and will be direct debited from my account, If I didn't place this order press one to talk to an agent, ect...

THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT FALL FOR IT. There are many videos on youtube about scams like this one, always be aware people, because unfortunately there are people out there who need to get a life instead of scamming.
