automated call regarding politics

called today about a survey about credit use. automated message I hung up

Once again, dinner time, robot call, We are on so called do not disturb, Pollies are the worst offenders. So much for my privacy. Ombusdman (mispel delibarately) step in please, get rid of these rats.investing the right, to not receive these calls, over and over again.

Had a call from this number it only rang twice then they hung up. After reading messages above I will just block it - they rang on my mobile.

if the number looks weird enough I just do not answer it. if the call/er is meritorious enough s/he will leave a message. If not then one has saved themselves some time at the (very) least.

Rang about 08.30 pm last night, the answering machine answered the call, they just hang up would assume another scam and secondly I do not do surveys by phone, who ever is behind all this just wasting it's time and other people.

Another telephone stalker added to my block list.

Had three 'private number' calls this evening - the first about 6pm and two more, all within 10 minutes. We don't answer; leave home line on 'answer' - no message is left!

they can STILL CALL YOU

Am on DO NOT call register, have a private number, but still these calls get through. Why are our politicians exempt from rules? Have advised parties not to call or email but they still persisted. Have managed to block e-mails but How do you block number on home phone?

Called at 8pm, testing my block filter and confirming that it works perfectly.

Yeah they keep calling about 6 pm I don't answer because they call almost daily. Telecom's of some kind! NOT interested.

Charities and political are exempt from the DNC register. Kinda defeats the purpose of it. I signed up to the register due to being shift worker, but still get nuisance calls when I'm trying to sleep. I had call from this number yesterday. Didn't answer it cos didn't recognise number.
